One Word: TRAVEL

I used to work for the travel industry.

In the country that saw me born and raised, I worked for the wholesaler domestic travel industry and I absolutely loved it. In the country that opened its door for me to be free, I worked for the retail and corporate travel and can’t complain (I could, but that’s another matter xD). But when I found myself in workshops or meetings, looking at brochures that I was supposed to look and think about how to sell it to potential clients but in reality I only thought “I wish I could go there”, when I was in front of my computer many times looking for good airfares… FOR ME!! And ultimately, when I realised I wasn’t making enough money to do what I love, a thought came to my mind and everything made sense:

I don’t want to sell travel, I WANT TO TRAVEL.

Many times, I felt so… jealous , watching people who know what they are passionate about and I didn’t… well, very deep into myself I knew, only I wasn’t channeling correctly. And finally I decided to be loyal to myself.

I.ABSOLUTELY.LOVE.TRAVELLING.

Nothing like that feeling of living a different life when in a new place. Nothing like being in front of a landmark that I always dreamt to see with my own eyes. That chill when I walk through historic streets and try to feel part of the everyday of the locals, the people who live there, their culture, food, costumes.

Nothing like travel.

So… why not share my experiences with someone else.? I also love to write, so…

Here I am. Let’s travel together!
